Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: May 2026 | Prepared in accordance with EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
Nordivesi Entertainment Oy is committed to ensuring that quanttstorydock.com and the Crystal Depths game are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that entertainment should be available to everyone, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of our Platform.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
2. Conformance Status
Quanttstorydock is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address known gaps.
This statement was last reviewed in May 2026. We conduct accessibility reviews on a rolling basis and update our Platform accordingly.
3. Accessibility Features of This Website
Keyboard Navigation
- All interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields, and accordions — are fully keyboard accessible
- A visible focus indicator appears on all focusable elements when navigating by keyboard
- A "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page for keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation
- The FAQ accordion can be operated entirely by keyboard using Tab, Enter, and Space keys
- The mobile navigation menu is keyboard accessible and includes proper
aria-expandedstate management
Screen Reader Support
- All pages include a descriptive
<title>element and a meaningful<h1>heading - Headings are structured in a logical hierarchy (h1 → h2 → h3) to aid navigation
- All images include descriptive
altattributes; decorative images usearia-hidden="true" - Interactive SVG icons have
aria-hidden="true"with visible text labels where necessary - ARIA landmark roles (
banner, main, navigation, contentinfo) are used throughout - Live regions (
aria-live) are used for dynamic content such as game balance and win notifications - Dialog overlays use
role="dialog",aria-modal="true", and appropriate heading labels - Form fields have associated
<label>elements andaria-requiredattributes
Colour and Visual Design
- Primary text and interactive elements meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratio requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Information is never conveyed by colour alone — icons, text labels, and patterns are used alongside colour
- Focus indicators meet minimum contrast requirements against all background colours
- The design avoids rapid flashing animations that could trigger photosensitive conditions
Responsive and Flexible Layout
- All pages are fully responsive and work on screens from 320px wide to 4K monitors
- Text can be resized up to 200% using browser zoom without loss of content or functionality
- The layout reflows correctly at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling (on most pages)
- Touch targets meet the minimum 44×44px recommended size on mobile devices
- The Platform is tested on iOS Safari, Android Chrome, Firefox, and Edge
Language and Reading
- The primary language of all pages is declared using
lang="en"on the<html>element - Text is written in clear, plain English to aid comprehension
- Abbreviations and technical terms are explained on first use where possible
4. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the Platform have known accessibility limitations we are working to address:
- The Crystal Depths game (game.html): The slot reel game is primarily a visual experience. While we have added ARIA live regions for balance and win notifications, the animated reel spinning may not provide a fully equivalent experience for users of screen readers. We are exploring audio cues and enhanced ARIA descriptions for a future update.
- Canvas-based particle effects: The win celebration and background particle animations are rendered on HTML Canvas elements, which are not natively accessible to screen readers. These elements are decorative and marked with
aria-hidden="true". - Complex data tables: Some paytable data within the game rules panel uses tables that may not read optimally in all screen reader and browser combinations on mobile.
We are committed to addressing these limitations in upcoming development cycles.
5. Technical Specifications
The Quanttstorydock website relies on the following technologies for conformance:
- HTML5 — semantic markup, landmark elements, ARIA attributes
- CSS3 — responsive layout, focus indicators, animation preferences
- JavaScript (ES5/ES6) — keyboard interaction, dynamic content, ARIA state management
- SVG — accessible inline iconography with ARIA labels
We test compatibility with the following assistive technologies:
- NVDA screen reader with Firefox (Windows)
- VoiceOver with Safari (macOS and iOS)
- TalkBack with Chrome (Android)
- JAWS screen reader with Chrome (Windows)
- Keyboard-only navigation (no pointer device)
6. Prefers Reduced Motion
Users who have enabled "Reduce Motion" in their operating system accessibility settings will experience reduced animations on the Platform. We respect the prefers-reduced-motion CSS media query. The hero floating animation, scroll reveal animations, and orb animations are reduced or disabled when this preference is set. We continue to extend this support to additional animations.
7. Text Resizing and Reflow
All text on the Platform is rendered in relative units (rem, em, clamp) so that text scales correctly when users increase their browser's default font size. The layout is designed to reflow intelligently at all standard zoom levels.

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project. We are grateful to users who report accessibility issues — your feedback directly improves the Platform for everyone.
